Gurney Airport(GUR)- Alotau is the provincial town of Milne Bay. Milne Bay is famous for it’s brilliant tradional array and festivals and is a favourite spot for diving and popular for tourist vessels and cruise boats to travel to. Milne Bay Province lies at the most south-eastern tip of PNG. It has a land area of 16, 202 square kilometers and 252, 990 square kilometers of sea. It has a population of 210, 000 people ( 2000 census). As a maritime Province, Milne Bay has over 600 islands with spectacular reefs, beautiful diving spots and an undying, rich culture.
