Kagamuga Airport(HGN).Western Highlands is in the Highlands of Papua New Guinea and is one of the most densely populated provinces. Its provincial capital is Mt Hagen. The province covers an area of 8,500 km² and has a population of 440,025 people (2000 census). The province is known for its tea and coffee growing. Mt Hagen becomes vibrant and colourful during their Cultural Shows annually. It is accessible by road and air. Air Niugini operates twice daily from Port Moresby into Mt Hagen.
