Air Niugini has released a 2011 desktop calendar featuring the airline’s latest aircraft.
The Boeing 767 and Q400 Next Gen were photographed during a photo shoot on Sunday October 24 by well-known PNG photographer Rocky Roe.
Project manager Glenn Armstrong said that the early morning photo shoot was part of the secret to success.
“Doing the photo shoot at first light produced stunning results. As a bonus we were able to get shots of the new 767 during take-off. Of course we did this with the support of Air Niugini Engineering and the CAA, who were both very helpful. Their support, with available aircraft and the morning light allowed Rocky to work his magic.” Armstrong said.
A limited number of copies of the calendar are now on sale at Brian Bell stores nationwide in Papua New Guinea.
The retail price of only PGK16 makes the desktop calendar a very affordable Christmas gift that will last all year long.
Air Niugini has also released for sale DVD copies of the Cabin Crew Uniform Launch, which took place on Monday September 6 at Crowne Plaza Hotel, Port Moresby.
The DVD program includes interviews with Air Niugini’s longest serving cabin crew members Esther Sapulai and Olga Apelis.
The DVD package also has a bonus photo disk of photographs by Rocky Roe of the Cabin Crew Uniform Launch Parade.
Also on sale throughout Papua New Guinea through Brian Bell’s, the double-DVD set has a retail value of PGK30.
