Air Niugini’s lease arrangement with Icelandair for a second Boeing 767-300ER has been completed and the airline is looking forward to the delivery of the aircraft in a week’s time.
The B767 aircraft under the registration P2-PXV will be arriving in new Air Niugini livery or colors, featuring a magnificent plumed bird of Paradise.
Its cabin offers 46 business and 148 economy class seats with greater pitch in both cabins which means more leg room for the passengers.
The arrival of the second B767-300ER will now bring the total aircraft in Air Niugini’s Boeing fleet to three aircraft including a Boeing 757.
All Boeing aircraft provide services on Air Niugini’s international routes. Air Niugini currently operates to ten international destinations including Cairns, Brisbane, Sydney, Honiara, Nadi, Singapore, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong and Narita.
