Continuous Suspension Of Hoskins Flights

Air Niugini flights to and from Hoskins airport, West New Britain continue to be suspended until further notice.

A recent review of Hoskins operations revealed that there is still an unacceptable level of volcanic ash around the runway, taxiways and parking area.

Air Niugini is in contact with National Airports Corporation (NAC) and will continue to review the situation and advise when the airport has been reopened and flights can resume

Passengers who plan to travel to Hoskins are advised not to do so at this time as you could be stranded in Port Moresby.
