Air Niugini Destinations Loyalty members can now earn and redeem points on the various products offered at the Madang Resort Hotel.This service is now fully operational following the recent signing of a two years partnership bringing the total Destinations corporate partners to 21. Air Niugini Awards Staff For Smart Ideas
Air Niugini continues to recognize and award staff members who contribute best ideas towards the Smart Ideas campaign. The campaign is part of the four pillars under the airline�s Higher Altitudes Program which aims to reduce costs, generate more revenue, build a stronger and happier workforce and excel in customer offerings. Four staff from various departments within the airline were awarded on Friday, 17th July 2020 for contributing their best ideas during January and May this year. Air Niugini Announces Partnership With Bel Isi PNG
Air Niugini, the national Airline of Papua New Guinea (PNG) has joined Bel isi PNG by affiliating with the organisation to provide support to victims of family and sexual violence (FSV). The initiative recognizes the impact family and sexual violence has on employees, and the increasing costs to employers and businesses in general as a result of this. Air Niugini Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr Bruce Alabaster said with the joint partnership now in place, airline staff who are faced with family and sexual violence can now be able get timely assistance with well-coordinated processes and procedures in place to guide them.

Air Niugini further expanded domestic flights and capacity from Friday 17th July as there is continuous increase in demand following the April lock down. Air Niugini Pilots Inspire 24 Orphan Kids From Remote Bundi
The twenty four children from remote Bundi, Madang have now arrived home and settled in at Mondia bridge Transit House at the foot of Mt Wilhelm, Chimbu after a memorable, inspiring day at Goroka airport yesterday with Air Niugini pilots and cabin crew. The children, mostly orphans between the age of six and 11 had not only fulfil their dream of seeing an Air Niugini aircraft for the first time, they had the opportunity to also board the plane and meet Air Niugini pilots, Captain Nama Mariole and First Officer (FO) Patrick Kiromat. FO Kiromat said �We are humbled to have crossed paths and be a small part of the lives of these little children and the journey they�re taking. We need more professionals in the aviation industry and we hope, we can be an inspiration to these kids, if we can inspire at least one of them, that�s good enough�

Updated International Air Travel Requirements
Air Niugini continues to provide essential air services to every city/town across PNG, as well as keeping supply lines open across the critical international network. Resumption Of LinkPNG Flights To Tabubil
Link PNG, a subsidiary of Air Niugini wishes to advise the general public that the airline will be resuming flights to Tabubil, commencing this Friday 26th June 2020. The decision to resume flights was made following the latest State of Emergency(SOE) directives and the relaxing of restrictions by the airport operator. Flights to Tabubil were closed since April this year due to the COVID19 pandemic.

Downgrade of Air Niugini Hagen services
Effective from today, Wednesday 10th June, Air Niugini flights to Kagamuga airport, Mt Hagen have been downgraded from Fokker jet aircraft to Link PNG�s Dash-8 and Q400 aircraft. This is to allow the National Airports Corporation(NAC) to carry out maintenance works on the runway.

Air Niugini Distributes Personal Hand Sanitizers To All Staff
Air Niugini has gone a step further by purchasing and distributing personal hand sanitisers to over 2000 staff across its network as part of the ongoing measures against the corona virus. A total 5,000 hand sanitisers in personalised 120mls bottles with Air Niugini branding were airlifted from Singapore to Port Moresby on Wednesday. They are now being unpacked at the airline�s commercial stores for distribution to all staff across the network both here and abroad. One of Air Niugini�s Board Directors, Lady Aivu Tauvasa said the airline�s health and safety measures for both staff and passengers are ongoing adding that the recent step by ANG demonstrates its appreciation and concern for the staff.
