Apply for an Air Niugini UATP account

The UATP card is Air Niugini’s preferred payment method for corporate travel, business airfare,
and loyalty members. Apply below to open your account.

Before you start

The application takes about 10 minutes to complete. Have the following ready:

A valid government-issued photo ID — passport, PNG National ID, driver’s licence, or other government ID. You’ll upload clear photos or scans of the front (and back where applicable).
Your current residential address.
The K1,000 minimum deposit — see “How to deposit” below. Your account cannot be activated until the deposit is confirmed.
A few minutes uninterrupted — the form has three pages and cannot be saved partway through.

Document upload tips

Upload clear, well-lit photos or scans. Photos taken on a phone are fine — just make sure all corners of the document are visible and the text is readable.
Accepted formats: JPG, PNG, PDF, HEIC. Maximum 10MB per file.
Passports: photo page only. National ID / driver’s licence: front is required, back is optional but speeds up verification.
Documents must be valid (not expired).

⚠️ Your application will not proceed until Air Niugini’s compliance team has verified your identity documents. You will be notified by email within 3–5 business days.

Indemnity agreement

Read the full indemnity clause below before proceeding.

By agreeing to this clause, the applicant confirms that once the account is created, Air Niugini will not be held responsible for any misuse or unauthorized use of the account or UATP card details. The account holder is solely responsible for safeguarding their login information and ensuring that all transactions made through the portal are authorized.

Air Niugini acts solely as the facilitating issuer for the UATP account and bears no liability for transactions, disputes, or card misuse arising after account activation. The customer acknowledges that the 15-digit UATP card number is confidential and must not be shared with unauthorised parties. Any fraudulent activity must be reported immediately to Air Niugini and UATP.
