Air Niugini Flights To Hoskins Airport
Air Niugini will recommence flights to and from Hoskins airport, West New Britain from tomorrow until Monday 11th January. Flights between January 5th and 11th are for passengers already holding tickets. There are no restrictions on passengers travelling into Hoskins during this period. Per advice from the National Control Centre, passengers departing Hoskins will be required to undertake a rapid COVID test at the airport prior to the flight.� This takes 20-25 minutes for the result, so passengers are requested to arrive early.�

Air Niugini Upgrades And Increases Flight During The Peak Travel Period
Air Niugini has upgraded and increased flights on its domestic sector to ensure smooth operations during the peak period, allowing Papua New Guineans to arrive home in time to celebrate Christmas and New Year with families and loved ones. The airline will be operating its first Boeing 737 commercial flight into Kagamuga airport,� Mount Hagen commencing next Monday 14th December following a successful test flight this morning from Port Moresby to Hagen and back. The B737 aircraft will become a regular sight at Mount Hagen thereafter. Chief Executive Officer, Mr Bruce Alabaster said that by using the B737 to Mount Hagen, this will allow the Fokker jet aircraft that currently service the route to be used to increase capacity elsewhere during the peak period.

Air Niugini Flights To Rabaul / Tokua
Air Niugini would like to inform the travelling public that the runway length at Tokua Airport, Rabaul has been temporarily shortened by the National Airports Corporation (NAC) to allow for urgent runway maintenance works. These runway works are expected to last approximately two months, depending on weather conditions. As a result of the above, all Air Niugini flights to and from Tokua are rescheduled onto smaller Dash-8 aircraft, operated by our subsidiary company Link PNG. The shortening of the runway means that payloads are heavily restricted, even for Dash-8 aircraft, and as far as possible the number of services into Tokua each day has been increased in order to partially address this reduction in available capacity.

There are no promotion codes etc. For really popular routes and dates, these special airfares may sell out very quickly, whilst on less popular routes, dates, or times the special fares are likely to be available for longer into the Tuesday. Tickets cannot be purchased via Air Niugini sales offices or travel agents, and staff in these offices do not have access to sell the promotional seats (or as claimed by some posters, to buy the special airfares themselves prior to the promotion commencing).

Air Niugini Operates Charter Flight To Repatriate Citizens In Time For Christmas
Air Niugini will be operating a charter flight on 09th December between Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands and Fiji to repatriate citizens back home to their respective countries in time for Christmas. The charter flight, PX 9084 will be operated by Air Niugini�s Boeing 737- 700 series aircraft, departing Port Moresby at 6am for Honiara, Solomon Islands. It arrives in Honiara at 09:20am before departing for Fiji at 10am. The flight from Honiara to Nadi will take 3hours, arriving at 2pm(local time). The return service, PX 9085 departs Nadi airport at 3pm and arrives in Port Moresby at 7pm via Honiara.

Air Niugini Resumes Jet Services To Mount Hagen
Air Niugini is pleased to announce the resumption of Fokker jet services to Mount Hagen, Western Highlands Province commencing Tuesday 20th October 2020. For most of the last sixteen months the runway at Kagamuga airport has been restricted to Dash-8 turboprop aircraft to allow National Airports Corporation(NAC) to complete maintenance and upgrading work on the runway and taxiways. Resumption Of LinkPNG Flights To Tari
Link PNG, a subsidiary of Air Niugini wishes to advise the general public that the airline will resume flights to Tari, Southern Highlands, commencing next Monday 21st September 2020. Link PNG suspended services to Tari in July 2019 to allow for the commencement of major upgrade works to the runway by National Airports Corporation (NAC). These runway upgrade works have now been completed and Link PNG is pleased to be able to restore services to Tari and the surrounding communities once again.
