Air Niugini held its first town hall meeting recently to brief staff on the progress of the new Airbus A220s Entry Into Service (EIS) and communicate new changes and developments in preparation for the arrival of the first aircraft in September, next year. 115 Air Niugini employees attended.Its the initiative of the airlines Chief Executive Officer, Mr Gary Seddon, and the Air Niugini Board of Directors, to ensure staff are better informed, engaged, and committed to a transformation program that will improve the performance of the company.

Air Niugini Boeing 737-800 P2-PXC Struck by Ground Services Vehicle in Manila, Philippines
An Air Niugini Boeing 737-800 was struck by a ground services vehicle on Friday evening 16th August, at Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila. The Air Niugini aircraft had just arrived from Port Moresby. There were no passengers or crew aboard the aircraft when the incident occurred. The damage is to the rear lower section of the fuselage, near the cargo door.

Air Niugini Adds New Boeing 737 to Fleet
