AIR NIUGINI LIMITED POSITION VACANT – ERP PROJECT MANAGER (1 YEAR ENGAGEMENT)

Air Niugini Limited is the National Airline of Papua New Guinea with over 1800 employees, and operates a fleet of 24 aircraft, providing air transport to 21 domestic and 11 international destinations.

As part of its current expansion and growth, Air Niugini seeks to recruit an ERP Project Manager to be part of its dynamic team for a period of one (01) year to introduce, implement and manage the ERP Project for the Company

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the ERP Project Manager will be based in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea and will be primarily responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• • Managing the end-to-end project delivery for SaaS ERP implementation, including planning, executing and monitoring
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and quality assurance to ensure project milestones are met
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with relevant stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
•  Provide regular project status updates to internal teams and external clients
•  Endure adherence to project management best practices and methodologies
• Act act as the main point of contact for clients, addressing concerns and ensuring their requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in SaaS ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and internal teams effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Solid knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
• Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus

The suitable candidate must have at minimum, a Bachelor’s Degree in IT, Business or a related field with 10 years plus of experience in project management, preferably in SaaS ERP implementations. Airline experience would be an advantage.
