Visas & Passports

Get your visa sorted

All visitors to Papua New Guinea need a visa to enter the country. So if you’re planning to work, do business, study or have a holiday here, you’ll need to go to your nearest PNG High Commission first and get the relevant visa in your passport.

A visa on arrival facility is only available to eligible foreign nationals at Port Moresby’s Jacksons International Airport and Tokua (Rabaul) International Airport.

To find out if you can apply for a tourist or business visa on arrival, please visit the website of the High Commission of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea.
